U.S. Coast Guard Wins Manpower Outrigger Challenge
Sixty-five teams spent a sunny, fun-filled Saturday at Bahia Point in Mission Bay participating in the fourth annual Manpower Outrigger Challenge. Even with a record number of teams participating, this year’s finals came down to a race between the three previous winners of the event.

The Fleet Week San Diego U.S. Coast Guard team pulled away midway through the final race to defeat Intracorp Ohana and the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina.

In the media race, NBC 7/39 paddled their way to a victory over KSWB-TV and My 94.1.
