Pacific Life Holiday Bowl Announces Local Selll Out
Tickets allotted for local fans of the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl have sold out, 2006 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl President Doug Sawyer announced today. The December 28 game features the California Golden Bears and Texas A&M Aggies. It will be televised nationally on ESPN. Kickoff is 5 p.m. PST.
“The San Diego community supports its bowl games better than any community in the country,” Sawyer said. “Thanks to our local fans it seems it is now an annual tradition to announce a Pacific Life Holiday Bowl local sellout early in December.”
Tickets still can be purchased. Conference arrangements dictate that each participating team buys 11,000 tickets. The Texas A&M Aggies have tickets remaining. Fans wishing to purchase game tickets are encouraged to contact Texas A&M University by calling 888-99-AGGIE or visiting www.aggieathletics.com or the University of California at www.calbears.com.
