Wiener Races San Diego semi-finals for the 2007 Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals were held yesterday evening during halftime of the San Diego State University vs. Brigham Young University football game at Qualcomm Stadium.  Jack, from Temecula, who completed the 56-foot course in 2.74 seconds, now advances to the Wienerschnitzel Wiener National finals.

Jack will represent San Diego at the national championship race in San Diego on December 27 during the nationally televised Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade presented by San Diego County Credit Union.  The 2007 Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals pits seven of the fastest dachshunds from all over the Southwest United States against each other on a 56-foot track.  The winner will be featured in the parade aboard the Wienerschnitzel float.  It starts at 9:30 a.m. in the parade television area.
