The 15th annual Bumble Bee Foods 5K kicks off the Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade presented by San Diego County Credit Union Thursday, December 30th at 9:45 a.m. Athletes will run past tens of thousands of spectators lining the scenic bay-front parade route.

This Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl event begins on Harbor Drive at Ash St. and heads south to 8th St., then proceeds behind the San Diego Convention Center. It continues north along the marina walkway making a loop through Embarcadero Park North, finishing on the walkway just past G Street in time to catch the first band and balloons as they parade by. Post race festivities also feature live music, snacks, beverages and more!

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division.
