Wells Fargo has agreed to underwrite entry fees for up to 30 military teams participating in the Jack in the Box® "Hoops at the Beach" 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. The 23rd annual event is set for the weekend of May 22nd and 23rd at Crown Point Shores along Mission Bay. It’s the largest tournament of its kind in San Diego County.
Participants receive event t-shirts and at least two games in double elimination or round-robin play. There are 12 divisions for boys and men, six divisions for girls and women and one co-ed division. There are age divisions for both genders ranging from 3rd to 12th grade. Men also can compete in the Elite, 6’0 & under, 6’3 & under, Men’s Open, Masters (30 & over), Super Masters (40 & over), and Senior Masters (50 & over) divisions. Women can also compete in the Women’s Open division. Kids divisions through 8th grade play Sunday only.
