Nearly a hundred golfers grabbed their clubs and took to the par-72 Oak Glen Course at Sycuan Golf Resort on Tuesday, June 7th for the Wells Fargo Golf Classic, which raised funds for the non-profit Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
While most were veteran players of the tournament, it was a group of new participants who claimed the 2011 event championship. Steve Vitamanti, Tom Creamer, Jake Nyberg and Wayne Foley had a winning net score of 53.32. The format was a best-ball scramble.

Each participant was provided a hearty lunch, on-course beverages and a heavy hors d’oeuvres reception. Each golfer also received an Adidas wind vest.
