40th annual bowl game to kick off on December 28, 2017
SAN DIEGO – San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl officials announced today that the 40th annual game will kick off with a new broadcast partner – FOX Sports. The 2017 game will air nationally on FS1 at 6:00 pm (PST) on Thursday, December 28 and in Spanish on FOX Deportes. Coverage of the game will begin at 5:30 pm (PST). The SDCCU Holiday Bowl marks FS1’s first ever bowl game.
The SDCCU Holiday Bowl will be played at Qualcomm Stadium, and for the fourth consecutive year match top teams from the Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences.
“We are so proud and excited to announce this new partnership, and grateful to the team at FOX Sports for their enthusiasm and support of the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl,” said Mark Neville, executive director of the bowl game. “FOX Sports is the ideal platform for our bowl game, and will most certainly be the broadcast home to many memorable games and down-to-the-wire finishes. As we prepare for our 40th anniversary game this December and thanks to FOX Sports, we can look forward to a very bright future.”

The San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl will again host the pregame FanZone, featuring a craft beer garden, food trucks, interactive skills challenges a sports lounge and more. Tickets for the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl will go on sale to the general public in August.
