A field of 144 golfers gathered at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort for friendly tournament action on the par-72 course at the annual Wells Fargo Golf Classic June 13.

There was no shortage of action at the beach this past weekend as the Jack in the Box "Hoops at the Beach" 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament descended upon Crown Point Shores for the 26th year.

The largest annual 3-on-3 tournament in San Diego County, the 26th annual Jack in the Box® "Hoops at the Beach" 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is set for May 18th and 19th at Crown Point Shores along Mission Bay.

It was a familiar scene on the water and at the award ceremony as "Paddle This!" captured its sixth consecutive title at the 2013 Wells Fargo Outrigger Challenge at Crown Point Shores on Mission Bay, April 27.

The 36th edition of the Holiday Bowl will be played Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 and the 9th annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl is set for Thursday, Dec. 26.

The Holiday Bowl has released its 2013 Spring Event calendar, which kicks off on Saturday, April 27th with the Wells Fargo Outrigger Challenge & Luau.

The San Diego Bowl Game Association's board of directors has elected Bill Geppert president of the 2013 Holiday Bowl and San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

Led by their high-powered offense, the Baylor Bears upset the #17 UCLA Bruins 49-26 in the 2012 Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
