Qualifying for the 2007 Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals was held in early September on the rugby fields at Qualcomm Stadium. A field of 334 dachshunds participated in the event, each vying for one of eight spots in the semi-final.

The 19th annual Barona $1 Million Hole-in-One Shootout, a fund-raiser for the non-profit Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, begins Monday, September 10 and runs through Friday, September 21 at the Stadium Golf Center located off I-15 at Aero Drive. The event is closed Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
