Golfers Take Aim at Barona $1 Million Hole-in-One Shootout
The 19th annual Barona $1 Million Hole-in-One Shootout, a fund-raiser for the non-profit Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, begins Monday, September 10 and runs through Friday, September 21 at the Stadium Golf Center located off I-15 at Aero Drive.The event is closed Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16.Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Daily prizes will be awarded to the top ten golfers who come closest to the 125-yard hole each day.The top prize each day is roundtrip airline tickets on ExpressJet.Other prizes include rounds of golf, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, Pacific Life Holiday Bowl game tickets, San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl tickets and more.
One winner from each day of the Shootout, as well as any golfers who sink holes-in-one, will advance to the Final Shootout at Barona Creek Golf Club on Monday, September 24.An ace at the Final will win a golfer $1 million.
