National Funding will serve as title sponsor for all-new FanZone
SAN DIEGO – The 39th annual Holiday Bowl will feature the National Funding FanZone, an exciting new fan experience, free for all ticket holders. Visiting fans and locals alike can get a taste of San Diego from a variety of food trucks and sample local craft brews in the beer garden. Fans can partake in interactive football games and skills challenges including target practice, field goal kicking and combine-style drills. A sports lounge will air a live bowl game or other sports action on ESPN, combining the excitement of tailgating with the comforts of the at-home viewing experience.
The National Funding Holiday Bowl kicks off at 4 pm (PST) on December 27 at Qualcomm Stadium. Washington State and Minnesota will battle it out on the gridiron. As part of Holiday Bowl tradition, fans in attendance can also expect a spectacular pregame show featuring the Big Flag, parachute jumpers and a flyover, as well as electrifying halftime fireworks and band performances. All fans with a ticket to the Holiday Bowl will be granted free access to the National Funding FanZone. The FanZone will be located in the G-1 section of the Qualcomm Stadium, adjacent to the trolley station and opens at noon.
