Lace up your high-tops, put on your headbands and don’t forget to bend your knees. The 24th annual Jack in the Box® “Hoops at the Beach” 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is set for May 21st and 22nd at Crown Point Shores along Mission Bay. It’s the largest annual 3-on-3 tournament in San Diego County.
The team entry fee includes event t-shirts and at least two games in double elimination or round-robin play. There are 12 divisions for boys and men, six divisions for girls and women and a co-ed division. There are age divisions for both genders ranging from 3rdto 12th grade. Men also can compete in the Elite, 6’0 & under, 6’3 & under, Men’s Open, Masters (30 & over), Super Masters (40 & over), and Senior Masters (50 & over) divisions. Women can also compete in the Women’s Open division. Kids divisions through 8th grade will play Sunday only.
The early-bird entry deadline is 5:00pm, Friday, May 13th.
In addition to 3-on-3 tournament action, event participants and spectators can enter in the San Diego County Kia Retailers Slam Dunk Contest, the Aruba Networks 3-Point Shootout, as well as the Bird Rock Systems $1,000 Free Throw Contest.

This event serves as a fund-raiser for the non-profit Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl, a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to generate tourism, exposure, economic benefit and civic pride for San Diego and its citizens by producing the nation’s most exciting college football bowl game and festival of events.
