that it is providing discounted entry fees for active duty military
personnel at its popular Wells Fargo Outrigger Challenge & Luau.
The San Diego Bowl Game Association’s board of directors has elected
Chuck Wasker president of the 2011 Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl
and San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
On an uncommonly frigid night in San Diego, the Washington
Huskies upset the heavily-favored #18 Nebraska Cornhuskers, 19-7 at the
33rd annual Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
With 14,000 spaces for 66,000 seats at Qualcomm Stadium, the
parking lot is expected to be full one to two hours before Thursday’s
Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
The Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl announced today that hall of fame
basketball player Bill Walton, will serve as Honorary Chairman of the
33rd annual Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.

Tijuana, Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl officials presented awards
to the 2010 offensive and defensive high school football players of the
year in Tijuana.
The University of Nebraska Cornhuskers and University of Washington
Huskies have accepted invitations to play in the 33rd annual Bridgepoint
Education Holiday Bowl.
The 15th annual Bumble Bee Foods 5K kicks off the Port of San Diego Big
Bay Balloon Parade presented by San Diego County Credit Union Thursday,
December 30th at 9:45 a.m.
