Intracorp Ohana Wins Manpower Outrigger Challenge

Fifty-four teams spent the day at Bahia Point in beautiful Mission Bay for the fifth annual Manpower Outrigger Challenge. After four hours of racing, the finals came down to Intracorp Ohana, who won the inaugural event in 2002, the RPR Paddlers and Intracorp Ekula. It was a close race but in the end Intracorp Ohana held off their competition to win the fifth annual event.

All participants were also treated to the tastes and sounds of the Hawaiian Islands at the Hilo Hattie Luau. This festive celebration had a steel drum band, hula dancers, drinks and lunch provided by Da Kine’s Plate Lunches.

However, the day's big winner was Colette Morel. Morel entered the raffle and won a Hawaiian vacation, including roundtrip airfare for two and a three night stay at the Grand Wailea Resort and Spa.
