Jack has starred in more than 2,200 Jack in the Box TV and radio ads in the longest, ongoing advertising campaign in fast-food history. The campaign has received numerous awards, including Clios, Beldings, EFFIEs, and Bronze and Gold Lions from the Cannes International Advertising Festival for the best fast-food advertising in the world.
According to Jack's California driver's license, he's 6'8" (without the hat) and weighs 195 lbs. And his birthday is May 16. Jack often shares glimpses into his personal life through his restaurant chain's television commercials. Over the past 14 years, viewers have met Jack's wife, Cricket, his son Jack Jr., and his parents.
The Pacific Life Holiday Bowl kicks off at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium at 5 p.m. PT on Wednesday, December 30th. The game features teams from the Pac-10 and Big 12 Conferences. The 2008 game featured a 42-31 Oregon Ducks victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in front of 59,106 fans and a national ESPN television audience.
The Parade steps off at 10 a.m. PT on game day morning along downtown San Diego’s scenic waterfront on Harbor Drive. The event is recognized as America’s Largest Balloon Parade, having more giant character balloons than any other parade in the United States. Street-side viewing is free, though reserved grandstand seats are available. The parade is televised live locally on Channel 4 San Diego, and broadcast nationally on the USA Network on a tape-delay basis.
