Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl officials announced today the launch of a Facebook contest that will enable fans the opportunity to win tickets to the 34TH annual Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. The social media contest, entitled North Island Credit Union FANtastic Football Challenge, is sponsored by North Island Credit Union and coordinated by MJE Marketing.
The interactive contest invites fans to pick winners of two games each week during the college football season. The selected games will feature teams from the bowl’s partner conferences, the Pac-12 and Big 12. Participants who correctly name both winners of the week will be entered into a drawing for two game tickets. The overall season winner will win the grand prize, which includes tickets to bowl week events and merchandise. If there is a tie for the contest championship at the end of the season, then all participants with the most victories will enter a random drawing to determine the overall winner.
To enter, fans need only “like” the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl on Facebook, located at www.facebook.com/holidaybowl.
“We’re really excited to launch this new program with North Island Credit Union,” said Chuck Wasker, president of the 2011 bowl game. “It will prove to be a fun way for our fans to win tickets to the big game.”
This year’s Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl kicks off at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28th at Qualcomm Stadium.
