Dr Pepper Most Inspirational Player
The DIRECTV Holiday Bowl, in cooperation with Dr Pepper and the Kiwanis Club of San Diego, is proud to continue a program for the 2023 football season that will honor a student-athlete who is often overlooked.
The Dr Pepper Most Inspirational Player Award aims to recognize a San Diego County senior high school football player who, through their presence, actions and words of encouragement, serves as an inspirational example to their teammates. The program celebrates the unsung heroes of our high school football teams. This individual might often be overlooked on the field, yet inspires his teammates and coaches through his commitment, positive attitude and willingness to persevere through adversity.
To nominate a player for the 2023 Dr Pepper Most Inspirational Player, please complete the form below by December 1, 2023. Only seniors are eligible to win. The winner will be honored on the field at the 2023 Holiday Bowl.
