Holiday Bowl Spring Event Schedule Kicks Off April 27th

Saturday, April 27, 2013 • Crown Point Shores • 7:30am Registration Opens • 12:00pm Luau Opens

Five-member teams will get into outrigger canoes and paddle their way for a chance at victory on a 200-meter flat water course. No experience necessary. Entry fee includes at least two races, t-shirts and tickets for the Hawaiian Luau. The Luau features the tastes and sounds of the Hawaiian Islands. Following the races, teams and guests will enjoy music, food (from Da Kine’s Plate Lunches), and drinks compliments of Kona Brewing Company.

This is a co-ed event. A team consists of five people, with at least two members being women. A sixth member, who is the steersperson, will be provided on event day courtesy of the Hanohano Outrigger Canoe Club. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate. The early entry fee is $200 per team.

Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, 2013 • Crown Point Shores • 8:00am-3:00pm Daily

It’s “Hoops at the Beach!” San Diego’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament returns to Mission Bay for the 26th year. Courts are set up along the Shores for two days of half-court action. The weekend festivities include: San Diego County Kia Retailers Slam Dunk Contest (Saturday at 12 noon), San Diego Chargers 3-Point Shootout (both days), Free Throw Challenge (both days), and Elite Division Play (both days).

Sunday, May 19 is Family Day. Boys and girls in grades 3-8 will take to the courts and compete in either double-elimination or round-robin tournaments. The youth team entry fee of $75 includes t-shirts for each of the four team members and a day of family fun.

Thursday, June 13, 2013 • Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort • 10:30am Shotgun

Grab your clubs and take a few hacks in support of the non-profit Holiday Bowl. The Wells Fargo Golf Classic is Thursday, June 13th at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort. Registration for the scramble-format tournament begins at 8:30am; the shotgun start is at 10:30am.

Individual and team entry fees include a hearty lunch, on-course beverages and a reception. Each golfer will also receive a gift. There are several unique contests on the course, and the reception features a silent auction and raffle.
